I am very saddened to hear that Anthony Mitchell, a Nairobi-based Assocated Press journalist is among the passengers in the Kenya Airways jetliner that crashed with 114 people.He isn’t pronounced dead yet, and I hope he isn’t.
Anthony is a respected and prominent journalist and he was based in Addis Ababa before the Ethiopian governmnet known for its aversion for truth and crtiticim kicked him out of country.
I still hope to hear good news and see Anthony be back in his work.
